No one can disagree that death is a part of life, but yet until you experience the loss of a loved one, it seems unreal and something you don't think much about.  Losing a loved one reminds us that life is but a vapor, here today and gone tomorrow.  It causes us to grieve and mourn the loss sometimes almost to the brink of despair.  It is difficult to comprehend that your loved one will no longer be present in your life and you see it as the end but really it's the beginning.   God promised eternal life to those who believe in him and is obedient to his word. During this time it is important to remember that God loves us and he understands the pain associated the loss of a loved one.  It is his compassion, mercy, and grace that gives strength and the ability to move forward in life.  His mercy and grace allows our loved ones to live even though they have died through precious memories that remain the heart.
